This is a place that you should not miss when you go to Australia. Side note: if you’ve never been to Australia before, you have to! It’s only a three hour flight from Sydney and well worth the flight.
The town itself has so much to offer. Boutiques, bars, shops and casinos line the streets of this little oasis.
As if you needed another reason, one of the highest attractions is because it’s close to the Great Barrier Reef and Port Douglas.
The Highlights of Taking a Vacay to Cairns, Australia
Some of the highlights from our last trip there were obviously The Great Barrier Reef, Kuranda, and the zoo. Every excursion that we did was amazing and well worth it. I can’t wait to revisit some of these.
