The Barcelo property in Riveria Maya consists of six different resorts sitting right alongside each other giving guests the opportunity to enjoy lots of amenities.
These resorts are both Family Friendly, Adult only and All Inclusive.
NTA visited this property in January and was extremely surprised with what we were shown. We have a pretty good idea on who the right client for this busy property.

Things You May Not Love Barcelo Maya
The rooms are just okay. To get a better experience we recommend upgrading to the Premium rooms where you have access to better locations, early check in/ late check out, and a truly all-inclusive experience.
It is a huge property which means lots of walking. They do have buses that run throughout the day
Seaweed can be problematic from April to August

This resort is great for first time travelers, family vacations or reunions, and even Destination Weddings. It has so much to offer and can be the perfect place for the right client…and that is where NTA comes in to suggest the appropriate recommendations for our clients based on their needs.
There are many different complexes - ask us which of these hotels offers 6 restaurants, all with views of the Caribbean Sea. Buffet and à la carte restaurants specialising in Brazilian, French and Caribbean (seafood), among other world cuisines. All this is included in the Barceló All Inclusive programme, and is exclusively for guests staying at the hotel.
General Information from Barcelo includes - The complex boasts excellent facilities including 3 wonderful swimming pools, one for adults only and a children's water park. It also offers a fitness studio, shopping centre, U-Spa, U-Kids Spa and a miniclub. Sports enthusiasts can train in the sea or in the sports areas. In the evening, there's a wealth of entertainment and leisure activities on offer.
